Ellipse Reply
Website enquiries answered in your words. A checked reply lands in your inbox a minute later, and nothing reaches the customer until you press send.
The problem
Enquiries arrive while you are on a job, behind the counter or asleep. By the time you have a minute to write back properly, the customer has asked someone else. Most of those questions you have answered a hundred times.
What it does
Every enquiry gets a draft reply written from your own answers: your prices, your delivery areas, your hours, your sign-off. Before it reaches you, the draft is checked. Every dollar figure has to be on your sheet, it never claims a booking or an order is confirmed, and anything it cannot answer is listed under "Needs you before sending".
If a message is odd, hostile or not something it should answer, it writes nothing and hands the enquiry to you with the reason.
Why you press send
The assistant cannot send email. That is deliberate. The quickest way to lose a customer is a confident wrong answer, so a person reads every reply before it goes. Most mornings that is a glance and a click.
