Ellipse Desk
The board a small sales team runs on: orders, payments, leads and jobs in one place, with the money worked out at month end.
Why it exists
Selling in the field runs on group chats, a notes app and a spreadsheet nobody trusts. Orders get taken on the footpath, paid by card, cash or bank transfer, and matched up later from memory. By month end, working out who sold what and who is owed what takes an evening and still ends in a phone call.
What it does
Orders, each with its stage from ordered to delivered and whether it is paid. Card payments arrive from Stripe and wait to be matched to an order, so a sale never goes missing. Door sheets give the rep a street-by-street list of shops worth a visit, and sales made at the door land in Orders on their own.
Leads, a task board, notes and ideas sit beside the orders. At month end Desk produces a statement for each person, with print and kit costs taken off first, the same way every time.
Why it is on this page
Because it is a business tool, not a demo. If your team takes orders away from a desk and settles up at the end of the month, this is the shape of the thing that replaces the spreadsheet. The screenshot uses the sample data Desk ships with, not real orders.
