If what you actually need is something that runs on its own overnight, that is a build rather than mentoring, and we will say so.

Prices and weekly specials are deliberately left out of the standard answers, because a confidently wrong price is worse than none. On Weekly we keep them current every week, so those questions get answered as well.

There are no other fees. No GST is charged, and if that changes we give 30 days' written notice first. One round of changes to your answers is included each month. If you get fewer than about three enquiries a week, we will say so rather than sell you a subscription.

How long does a project take?
A Landing page takes 5 to 7 days. A Starter site typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. Studio builds run 4 to 6 weeks. AI-Powered projects vary based on complexity but usually 6 to 10 weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
What do I need to provide?
Your logo, any existing brand guidelines, the content you want on the site (text and images), and your feedback along the way. We can help with copywriting and sourcing images if needed.
Do you work with businesses outside Australia?
Yes, we work with clients anywhere. We're based in NSW but our projects are fully remote. All pricing is in AUD.
What is Ellipse Edit CMS?
Ellipse Edit is our own platform, built from scratch rather than an off-the-shelf CMS, and it's included in every project from Landing up. Update text, images, pages, and blog posts yourself through a clean editor, with version history and rollback, built-in analytics and Google Search Console, SEO tools, and a support inbox. Secure passwordless login, no third-party logins. It's also the foundation for our integrations: Square POS sync for retail, Etsy sync for makers, and REA + Domain listing sync for real estate.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, SSL certificate, and Ellipse Edit platform access, so your site stays live, fast, and editable. Studio and above also include up to 1 hour of support per month for tweaks and content changes.
What are the integration add-ons?
If you run a retail business, our Square Sync add-on connects your Point of Sale to your website automatically, so products and pricing stay in sync. If you're a real estate agency, our REA + Domain Sync add-on lets you publish listings directly to realestate.com.au and domain.com.au from Ellipse Edit, without any third-party listing software. And if you run hospitality or multiple venues, our Operations Dashboard add-on pulls your POS, rostering and accounting into one read-only view so you can track sales against labour.
What is ContentPilot?
ContentPilot is our own content engine. From your topic list it drafts blog posts for your site and posts for Facebook, Instagram and Google Business, shapes each one for its platform, and makes one image that goes out with every version. You approve or change every post, and once approved it goes out on the day and time set for it. Nothing goes out before you approve it. Included with AI-Powered websites and available on its own.
Can I start with Starter and upgrade later?
Absolutely. Every site is built to grow, and since Ellipse Edit CMS is included from day one, adding pages, integrations, or AI features later is straightforward. Many clients start with Starter and move to Studio as the business grows.
What is AI mentoring, and how is it different from an AI build?
Mentoring is being shown how to do the work yourself. If a person drives the task and reads every output before it goes anywhere, that is mentoring: we teach it, you run it, and we operate nothing. If the job has to run unattended, on a schedule or a trigger with nobody watching, that is a build instead, and it is priced and supported differently. The test is who runs it, not how complicated it is, and we will tell you which one you actually need.
Whose AI subscription is it, and do you mark it up?
It is yours, in your name, on your card, paid directly to Anthropic. Around $30 a month, and about $3 cheaper if you enter your ABN so GST is not added. We never resell it, never hold the login, and never mark it up. That is deliberate: you can stop working with us and keep the account, the prompts and everything in it.
Why Claude, and not ChatGPT or others?
Because knowing one model properly beats knowing several shallowly. We mentor on Anthropic Claude and build on it by default, so the advice, the prompts and the tooling are consistent and we can actually stand behind them. Claude does not make pictures, so the images in ContentPilot come from an OpenAI image model. And on-premise work uses an open-weight model on your own hardware, because no hosted model can.
What is Ellipse Reply?
An enquiry comes in, either through a short form on a page we host for you or by forwarding your enquiries email to us, and an assistant drafts the reply from answers you have checked and signed off, mostly taken from your own website. The draft lands in your email. You read it, change it if you want, and send it yourself.
Does Ellipse Reply ever answer my customers by itself?
No, and it cannot. Nothing reaches your customer unless you send it from your own email. The assistant has no tools: it cannot send, book, look anything up or take any action, and it never has access to your mailbox. It only sees the enquiries you choose to send it. If a draft fails one of our checks, for example a price or a date that cannot be traced to your signed-off answers, you get no draft at all, just a note that this one is yours to answer.
What happens to the enquiries?
Each enquiry and its draft is deleted automatically once it is 30 days old, after which your own email is the only record. Before anything is stored, a filter removes tax file numbers, dates of birth, bank, card, Medicare, passport and licence numbers where it recognises them, and an enquiry that had one is handed straight to you with no AI involved. It is a filter, so it can miss things. The text is processed by Anthropic in the United States, which under its commercial terms may not train on it and deletes it within 30 days. Hosting is Netlify and email is Resend.
How do I know Ellipse Reply is worth it for me?
Count your enquiries for a week first. If you get fewer than about three a week we will tell you it is not worth your money, and we would rather say that than sell you a subscription. The 30 day trial exists so you can watch the drafts against your real enquiries before you pay anything.
How does payment work?
We take a 50% deposit to get started and the remaining 50% on completion before the site goes live. For larger projects we can discuss a milestone-based payment schedule.
