Web Design & Build

A website you own, can edit yourself, and never have to ring anyone about.

What you actually get

A site designed for your business and written by hand, with no theme and no page builder underneath it. That is not a point of pride, it is the reason the thing loads quickly, reads properly on a phone, and does not fall over the next time a plugin updates.

Every build from the Landing tier up comes with Ellipse Edit, our own platform. You log in, change a price, swap a photo, publish a post, mark a listing sold. No developer, no invoice, no waiting until Thursday.

How a build runs

One conversation to understand the business and what the site has to do for it. One design direction, not three to choose between, because picking between options is the job you are paying for. Then the build, on a private link you can open on your own phone the whole way through.

It goes live when you say it is finished. After that it is yours: your domain, your content, your logins.

What we will talk you out of

A full rebuild when the site you have needs four pages fixed. A shop when you sell six things and an enquiry form would do. A subscription for something we could show you how to do in an afternoon. If the cheaper answer is the right one, that is the one you will hear.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I have to be in the Central West?

No. Most clients are in Cowra, Canowindra and Orange because that is where the conversations start, but the work is delivered Australia wide, and one site was built for a client in the south of France.

Can I really edit it myself?

Yes. Ellipse Edit is included from the Landing tier up. Text, photos, blog posts and listings are yours to change, with version history so a mistake is undone with one button.

How long does a build take?

A Landing page takes 5 to 7 days. A Starter site typically takes 2 to 3 weeks, and a Studio build 4 to 6 weeks. You get a clear timeline before any work starts, and the site goes live when you say it is finished.

Do you work with Shopify and Squarespace?

Yes, where they are the right tool. A shop with a real catalogue usually belongs on Shopify or Square, and we will say so rather than build you something custom to maintain.
